Application Fee
- UR / EWS / OBC Candidates: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only).
- Exempted Categories: All Women candidates, along with candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are 100% exempted from paying any fee.
- Payment Mode: Fee can be paid online via Net Banking, Credit/Debit cards, and UPI until the closing date.

- Teaching Posts (TGT/Special Education): Pay Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) under Group B.
- Junior Scientific Assistant (JSA) Posts: Pay Level-5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300) under Group C.
DSSSB Various Post : Selection Process
- One Tier Examination: The test is an objective type Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 200 total questions carrying 200 marks with a time duration of 2 hours.
- Section-A (100 Questions / 100 Marks): Divided into 5 sub sections carrying 20 marks each: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language And Comprehension and Test of English Language And Comprehension.
- Section-B (100 Questions / 100 Marks): Multiple-choice questions testing your specific subject domain or teaching methodology/B.Ed curriculum.
- Negative Marking: A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Normalisation: In case tests are conducted across multiple shifts, a score normalisation method will be executed to draw out the final select panel.

Q1: Can an OBC candidate from outside Delhi claim reservation benefits under DSSSB?
No. Only OBC candidates notified and certified by the Government of NCT of Delhi are entitled to reservation benefits and age relaxation. OBC applicants from other states are treated strictly as Un-reserved (UR) candidates and must apply under the UR category.
Q2: What is the criteria for minimum qualifying marks in the DSSSB technical or teaching exam schemes?
For One Tier Technical and Teaching posts, the mandatory minimum qualifying marks are applicable only in the domain subject-specific section (Section-B). There is no individual sectional cutoff score required for Section-A, though minimum cumulative parameters apply.
Q3: Is there a dress code protocol specified for candidates appearing at the exam centers?
Yes, DSSSB enforces a strict dress code. Candidates must wear light clothes with half sleeves, without large buttons, brooches, or badges. Footwear must be limited to slippers or low-heeled sandals; full shoes are strictly prohibited inside the examination center.
