Pay Scale
- Basic Pay: ₹16,900/- per month.
- Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA): Paid at applicable government rates.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): Paid at applicable rates based on the place of posting.
- Perks: Paid as Applicable.
- Medical Expenses: ₹1,500/- Per Month.
- Annual Increment: A 3% Annual Increase on the Basic Pay is admissible based on satisfactory performance. Other benefits include Provident Fund, Gratuity, and Bonus.
Computer Based Written Test (CBT)
- Duration: 2 Hours.
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Negative Marking: No Negative Marking
- Part-I: 20 questions on General Awareness.
- Part-II: 20 questions on English & Reasoning.
- Part-III: 60 questions on the concerned ITI Trade Discipline.
- Qualifying Benchmarks: Fixed at 45% marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Can I apply for the Operator Vacancy if I have completed my ITI trade course but have not done a formal Apprenticeship?
No. To be eligible, candidates must possess both the National Trade Certificate (NTC) from the NCVT and a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by the DGT. Forms submitted without a valid apprenticeship certification will be rejected as incomplete.
Q2: Is there a notice period required if either party wants to terminate the tenure before the 4-year completion?
Yes. The tenure employment can be terminated at any time by either party by giving one month’s notice in writing, or by payment of one month’s Basic Pay + DA components in the consolidated remuneration in lieu of the notice period. BEML can also terminate the contract due to poor performance without assigning any reason
Q3: Can I request a change in my test center location or category classification after final form submission?
No. BEML clearly states that any request for a change in category, communication address, email, mobile number, or written test center location as declared in the online form will not be entertained under any circumstances.
