Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What happens if I fail to send the physical hard copy package before the offline deadline?
It is mandatory to submit both the online form and the physical hard copy package within the prescribed timeline. If the university does not receive the signed hard-copy transcripts by post within 15 days of online application closing date your candidature will be automatically rejected without any further notice.
Q2: Is there a service bond or mandatory lock-in period for selected candidates?
Sure. The posts in the Universities are on an all India cadre. Once you are appointed and posted to a particular campus or center, transfer requests on personal grounds will not be considered and entertained for a minimum lock-in period of 10 years. Any effort to influence a transfer prior to this will be deemed official misconduct and will be subject to disciplinary action.
Q3: Can a candidate apply for a vacancy if they do not have a valid, digitally verifiable EWS certificate?
Candidates should possess valid Income and Asset Certificate issued by competent authority on or before last date of online application submission to get reservation under EWS category. If the candidate fails to submit a valid certificate within the stipulated time, the candidate will not be extended reservation benefits and he/she will be treated as a regular Unreserved (UR) candidate.
