IERT Entrance 2026 : Written Examination Pattern
- Type of Questions: Objective Multiple Choice Questions
- Total Number of Questions: 75 Questions
- Maximum Evaluation Weightage: 300 Marks.
- Exam Duration: 3 Hours.
- Marking Pattern: Each correct response adds +4 marks, while a penalty of -1 mark is deducted for every incorrect choice. All questions are compulsory.
- Engineering Exam Syllabus Core: Covers standard 10th/12th grade level Arithmetic, Statistics, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Coordinates Geometry, Mensuration, Physics and Inorganic/Organic/Physical Chemistry.
Selection Criteria
- Engineering Diploma: Admission is granted strictly based on the normalized merit score obtained in the written entrance examination.
- Management & Post Graduate Diplomas: Selection relies on a cumulative merit list prepared from the performance in the written entrance examination followed by a Personal Interview.
- Out of State Rule: There is no reserved quota for candidates outside Uttar Pradesh. Out-of-state applicants will only be considered on open merit if seats remain vacant due to a lack of eligible candidates from U.P.
How to Download For IERT Entrance Examination 2026 Admit Card
- Candidates who Applied for the IERT Entrance Examination 2026, the admit card was released on June 20, 2026; the Diploma Engineering Exam is Scheduled for June 30, 2026, and the Other Exams will be held on July 3, 2026.
- Go to IMPORTANT LINKS and click on Login, followed by Download Admit Card.
- Log in by Entering the Registration Number or Application ID that was Generated when you Submitted your Online Form.
- Download the admit card to your device and check if there are any errors.
- Take a color Printout of the Admit Card. You will not be allowed to sit for the Exam without this copy of the Admit Card. Therefore, keep your Admit Card safe and Ready before the Exam.
