Q1: What is the difference between the Exam City Intimation Slip and the Admit Card?
ANS: Exam City Intimation Slip is released 10 days before the test to inform you about your allotted test city and shift timing so that you can make travel arrangements. It is not admit card. You cannot enter the examination hall with the city slip only. You must download and carry the official Call Letter which is released 4 days prior to your exam.
Q2: Can I change my exam center, date, or shift timing?
ANS: No. The RRB will assign the examination center, date and shift and the same shall be final. We will not entertain any change request under any circumstances.
Q3: How do eligible SC/ST candidates get the Free Travel Authority?
The Sleeper Class Railway Pass to eligible SC/ST candidates who opted for free train travel facility at the time of registration is an integral part of the Exam City Intimation Slip and e-Call Letter. You need to carry a self-attested photocopy of the admit card along with the original SC/ST caste certificate and original valid photo ID during travel.
Q4: What should I do if my application status shows “Conditionally Accepted” or “Provisionally Accepted”?
ANS: “Provisionally Accepted” means that your application has been accepted to proceed to the CBT stage, subject to document verification at a later stage of the recruitment process. “Conditionally Accepted” – Please ensure you follow all specific instructions on your application status portal and have original certificates ready for verification.
Q5: What happens if I forget my Registration Number?
ANS: You will have to go to the official RRB application portal and click on the “Forgot Registration Number” option. Then you will have to verify your registered mobile number and email id through OTP.
