Selection Process & Exam Pattern
- Preliminary Examination (Objective OMR Track)
- Paper-I (General Studies-I): 150 Questions. Merit Ranking for Main Exam shortlisting is strictly drawn from this paper marks.
- Paper-II (General Studies-II / CSAT): 100 Questions. It is a qualifying paper with the threshold fixed at 33% marks.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 Th Marks
2. Main Examination (Conventional Written Tier)
- General Hindi: 150 Marks.
- Essay: 150 Marks.
- General Studies Papers (GS-I to GS-VI): 200 Marks per paper. Note: GS-V and GS-VI are specifically curated to map the geographical, economic, historical, and political features of Uttar Pradesh.
- Personality Test (Viva-Voce): Shortlists 3 times the vacancy volume. Evaluated for a total of 100 marks to check general suitability.
