How to Apply For Air Force AFCAT 2026
- First of all, open your web browser and visit the official portal of Indian Air Force AFCAT i.e. afcat.edcil.co.in. On the homepage, locate the link for “AFCAT 02/2026” or “Apply Online”. Click on it.
- Application should be submitted after downloading the official PDF notification from the website. Read it thoroughly and understand the physical requirements, medical standards and exact eligibility criteria so that you don’t have any rejection later.
- If this is your first time visiting the portal you will need to create an account. Click on ‘Register New User’. Enter your full name, a working mobile number and your valid email address. You will receive an OTP on your mobile & email. Verify it to create your login credentials (User ID and Password).
- Once logged in, you will be presented with the main application form on your screen. Fill in all the details carefully including Personal Information, Educational Qualifications, Communication Address, and Your preferred Exam Center Locations. Check for typos.
- After filling text details, you have to upload scanned copies of your recent passport size colour photograph, your signature and your left thumb impression. Please ensure that all files conform to the precise size and format specifications (usually JPG/JPEG) outlined in the official announcement.
- The next step is the fee payment. The examination fee for AFCAT entry is Rs. 550/- (plus applicable GST). You can easily pay this online using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. (Note: Candidates applying through the NCC Special Entry are exempted from paying this fee).
- After the successful payment, take time to check your entire application form carefully. Once all is correct and set, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the process.
- Do not forget to download and print the final submitted application form and fee payment receipt. Keep these documents safe with you for reference in the selection process and during the interview.
